I am a doctoral candidate in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Health Sciences PhD Program in the School of Biomedical Sciences and Healthcare Administration. I will be defending my dissertation on May 22, 2025.

My dissertation research at the Mobility Lab, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, focused on the biomechanical mechanisms underlying patterns of rotator cuff health in manual wheelchair users with pediatric-onset spinal cord injury or dysfunction.

I am passionate about research that positively impacts people by improving mobility, function, and recovery from injury or surgery. Born and raised in southwest Michigan, I currently live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with my wife, daughter, and dog. I enjoy running and cycling, gardening, cooking, and watching hockey, football, and baseball.
